The label is a rip of the Flying Warriors (NES) box art:

It might be the same game too (don't have time to verify right now).

Based on the screenshot, I'd say it's the same game:

Looks like another one for the "NES-exclusive games ported over to Famicom" list.

Thanks, UglyJoe. You know everything, or you can translate Japanese/Chinese...

Any heard of Sailor Moon Infant School? I saw this on a Famicom cart label.

manuel

Flying Warriors...
The direct translation of the title is Fist of the Flying Dragon.

Does anyone know what the Famicom version of Kid Klown (NES) is called? Wikipedia says it's called: Mickey Mouse III: Dream Balloon for the Japanese Famicom release, but a Google search for that title doesn't reveal much.

Anyone own it?

Any chance there is a Mario hack of it?

From the Youtube video of the NES version I watched, it looks like a good candidate for a Mario hack.

JC

Never heard of that, ericj. I wouldn't be surprised to find one or two unidentified Mario hacks.

Anyone know this one: http://tw.f5.page.bid.yahoo.com/tw/auction/e29439290

UglyJoe

That's a hack of Takahashi Meijin no Bouken Jima (Adventure Island).  Compare it to this screenshot:

JC

I was hoping it was an original, since it had a copyright with a unique company name. I'm also surprised by the date on it -- 1987 -- which might be one of the earliest hacks.

ericj

I wonder if 1987 is just an artifact from the original game and not the date of the hack.

JC

I checked; the game was released in 1986.

ericj

I saw that date on Wikipedia, but my pirate cart of adventure island shows 1987. Hmm...

Yeah like the cart said Raid on Buncelinc day. I'm pretty sure it was released on the NES as well.

I don't think the game in the pic is Raid on Bungeling Bay, which is probably why JC is asking.  ;)
