Some pirate company released every single game it pirated using the same Raid on Bungeling Bay label, with slight variations in spelling and color. I just don't know what game that could be.

Hello, this is my first post here. I came across a bunch of Famicom games at a thrift store and purchased them all. If anyone can help me identify some of these games that would be greatly appreciated. Also if someone can give me an idea of the value of some of these games (if any). that would be great too. I'm new to Famicom so thanks for the help.

I pretty much know what these are:

I need help with these:

I've found pictures of this one, but not with the 20-22 switch on the side. How obscure is this?

"Uddeipoko" is usually romanized as "Woody Poco", despite the lack of katakana.

Ah, I was wondering what that meant.

Thank you. They were selling these games for $3 a piece and a Famicom and Disk Sytstem (Disk system with the box) for $20). I offered $50 for everything. Unfortunately, they couldn't find the power supply for the Famicom so I can't test it out. It's not in very good shape cosmetically. The DIsk system looks good but doesn't seem to power up. Can it power up on it's own or does it need to be connected to the Famicom to do so (the light doesn't go on when I plug it in and turn it on)? I'm thinking about returning the systems and getting the $20 back and possibly selling the games (since I currently can't play them).

The disk system does need to be connected to the famicom to see the led light up. Btw, if you decide to return the famicom and disk system to get the $20 back, would you mind just selling it to me?  :)

Great finds but if you want to get more for your money you can try and sell the disk system on this forum. There are a lot of people interested as you can see.

Well I doubt the Famicom unit itself works any longer. The guy in the store told me that I could use a regular NES AC Adapter with the unit, which I foolishly tried without doing any research beforehand. It didn't seem to power up and I thought I shut it off immediately, but a few minutes later smoke started emitting from the unit so I imagine it is now shot. I was unable to test out the disk system but they did tell me that they tested it. Unfortunately, despite this recommendation, the store refuses to take the Famicom unit back. Is the part that could have been damaged easily repairable or is the entire unit basically shot?

If anyone is willing to purchase the damaged Famicom unit, a Disk system that has not been tested by me and the games I might be willing to do this. But I'm not necessarily comfortable with selling something that may not work. I will be busy the next few days, so I won't be able to discuss this at the moment. I don't necessarily want a big profit from any of this. If someone wants this stuff I would work out something reasonable, but give me a few days.

If you wanted to try to fix it, you would probably need to replace, at a minimum, the voltage regulator, capacitor, fuse, and perhaps a resistor or two. If you feel comfortable taking it apart and posting pics, I'm sure you could find help on here. If not, I may be interested in the lot. I've been wanting to get a stand-alone FDS.

If the seller gave you that hideously incorrect piece of advice (NES AC with Famicom), then he should take full responsibility for it and replace your Famicom or give you a refund.

Any heard of Sailor Moon Infant School? I saw this on a Famicom cart label.

I'm guessing a pirate version of Urusei Yatsura: Lum no Wedding Bell, as the first stage is called "Infant School".

JC

Hmm...that's a strange one to pirate, but just about every licensed game has been pirated.
