Got another one here: http://tw.f2.page.bid.yahoo.com/tw/auction/b46550391

I'm curious if it might be a disk game. I doubt it, but Whirlwind Manu ported some disk games and I don't recognize this one by label or title screen.

Nope: Attack Animal Gakuen (J) [!] cart release in japan only.

Attack Animal Gakuen is one of my favorites! It's one of the 3d goggle system games.

I'm going nuts trying to figure out what an old 80s arcade game was called...  Even if I heard the name, I may have been too young to even know what it was to recognize it.  But I believe it was a sit down over a bike kind of arcade game and the graphics were made up of red laser like lines in a 3d bike type game.  I really don't recall much about it but the basics (and even those I'm unsure about  :P).   Tried googling it, but didn't see what I was looking for.

/\  I do remember that game, and I think that is actually what I wanted to know (thanks), but for some reason I thought I was remembering something made out of the laser line type graphics like Star Wars was  ???

What is this?!

Details:
9 pin female Jack- 5 on top row, 4 on bottom
Top Buttons Labeled -AA ,BB
Bottoms Labeled - A, B.
No Manufactioner, Game system or country of orgin Label.

What it isn't :
Doesn't fit the Famicom Front Jack
Nor a NES
It fits the Sega version 2 Controller jack but it doesn't work. Also it doesn't have the C button so doubting it's sega.
So..what is this?!

Looks like a controller that would be packed in with a Famiclone of some kind.  Some companies make ports for controllers weird so people can't play with other controllers.  Do you have any Famiclones?  Where did you get the controller?

I don't have a famiclone. It was bought loose at a ALLIED [A secondhand record shop], They got alot of the usual stuff, this is the first real rare thing I ever found besides a Famicom. I would figure if it was a Famiclone controller it would have the same ports as a famicom or NES. any thoughts?

It's actually pretty common.  Most Console-in-controller clones have weird ports like that.  But console clones can have it too.

Oh I see, You meant the famiclone companies make the ports different so they can't be played with other ones.
That's really kinda odd, One would figure they would try to make it look as much like the orginal, if not only to confuse but also to make it more useable in general .  Well now that I know what it is [in a way] I have no idea what to do with it. lol

It could be to improve sales.  If you have whatever clone that controller goes to, and a friend comes over to play...and you only have one controller, it forces your friend to buy the same clone in order to get the controller.  It could also be because of financial limitations.

Actually, most pirate clones follow some kind of standard. That DB-9 controller is interchangeable with almost every Famicom clone. A minority of clones use a DB-15 connector much like the Famicom's expansion port, but in the pirate world the DB-9 connector is the most common.

Makes me really wonder why they would take the damn thing, probrably didn't know what it was, Oh well I bought a five dollar controller I can't use..done worse lol
