I would like to buy the SFC game Super Mario World that was hacked for the FC.  I saw this on ebay once about a year ago, and have not seen it since...  Anyone have a copy for sale?

Thanks!

I'm offering $200+ for the multicart with the full game on it and nobody is selling...

FYI, there are two versions if this game: a stand-alone game with only the first two worlds on it, and the JY 45-in-1 multicart with the full game.

The former is less expensive, more common, and less desirable. You can probably find it for around $100, but the full game fetches higher prices.

Thanks for the info, I knew I would be paying for this.  Good luck finding a copy.

The loose, shorter version sells for around $40-$60 shipped (I've seen it offered for less, and I've owned a boxed one before).  The full version is very very rare, and impossible to put a definite price on.  I think I saw one offered for ~ Y50,000 at one point (Yahoo Japan).  I could see $200 as being an expected price for it considering the interest I've seen for it on this forum, but if it were auctioned in the US and known on this forum, it's up in the air to how much one could fetch.

May I ask, what was the price that you paid for it? It would be helpful, both qs to how much I offer as a bounty, and to a friend of mine who is readying to publish the new edition of his book on classic games.

The reality is, six known or not, these were at least made in the hundreds if not tens of thousands, but they may all be landfilled somewhere in Asia by now. One of these days I will do a trip around China and Taiwan and see what obscure items I can find..

PM sent!

Per the posts in this thread, am I right the SMW listed for sale is not the complete game?  I am okay with this, I really just want to play it!

Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, the full version of the game is only available on the 45-in-1 multicart.  The standalone cart is always the demo cart.

nintendodork

Yup.  There are a few different serial/model numbers of the cart, but there is no cartridge that contains just SMW and has the full version on it.
I like to glitch old VHS tapes and turn them into visuals for live music events. Check out what I'm working on - www.instagram.com/tylerisneat

Sorry folks.

cubelmariomadness

That's basically the same as what I posted. Same ending, but just it cuts off short.
