I'll do a deal - if you send me the items first, I'll happily pay you when I receive them via Western Union.
No-one will pay Western Union BEFORE getting items, because it is so infamous and synonymous with cybercrime.

If you think you can trust me to pay you after I receive some games, then let me know, but nobody here will pay you with items bought from somewhere else.  It's doubling up on shipping for a start...

TRANSLATION BELOW:

Spoiler

I think it makes sense if you want to chance it. However, requiring others to have at least 501 posts when you only have 8 yourself, not to mention ZERO feedback, is a bit absurd.  ::)   Because we all know these games cost you next to nothing to buy, so there really isn't that much to lose if you send it first and wait for payment. Pero, loquesea. Cartuchos tuyos, reglas tuyas.

If he's going to send first, it makes sense he'd want the other person to be a respected member of the forums. Two new users trading with each other is a lot riskier.

I agree. But 500 posts is a lot. We have a feedback thread that he could browse or he could review posts for real content and not just silly posts to up post count.

limentinus

jeje, sorry ericj, was a lapsus brutus , is number of post >50; but better , i only request that have feedback>1 and a good reputation.

Trenton_net

I agree with people here. For instance, I sell loads of games and I am quite well known but I don't necessarily have a 500 post count. Nevertheless, I would like to think that my reputation is in quite good standing. Having post count limits simply promotes the necessity to fluff up your post numbers, which just leads to more 1-liner spamming.

crade

Sheesh, just feed the poor guy to the crocs why don't you?  It seems like he is trying to be reasonable to me.

It might not be obvious from the poor English but he said it was a typing mistake and he meant >50, not >500. I agree, post count isn't the best way to judge, but whatever.

Ah. My apologies. I totally didn't understand what he was trying to say (^_^);

Medisinyl

Well, he said a good reputation OR high feedback, which seems more than reasonable to ship before payment.

satoshi_matrix

this thread sure is getting a lot of buzz. Almost everyone from Famicom World seems to be here!

Personally I think that it's completely reasonable to do this sort of thing only if a lot of information is exchanged and no money is. Asking him to ship the stuff first so long as you have a good rep is reasonable, but at the same time you have to think of it from both angles.

Good luck L_E_T and limentinus

jackhandy566

there are other websites besides paypal. paypal is just the cheapest website to use which takes 1.25-1.75% of the price exchanged.

I'll have a look at the list and let you know, but no, I will not pay $3 for certified message - you must pay that.  I gave you a viable option that is safe for both of us and if that charge exists then you must pay it, because this is the only viable way of doing business.  I'm willing to pay $1 towards the three dollars to help you out, but this $3 cost is your cost as a seller, not mine.

If the games did turn up, I will happily pay you the shipping charge and the cost of the games, but I won't pay you a cent before anything has arrived.

Here's what I'd like:
