I'd strongly recommend it, it's a lot of fun to collect for. But at least you have a nice CIB SFC console, I'm thinking of upgrading my system to a CIB someday.

I moved away from buying new systems a while back (got a Satellaview and SFC brand new) and started buying systems I can play and use as they were intended.  
I got a loose system for cheap and got a couple of those carry cases, one for the system and one for games.  I find that works quite well.  I try and buy CIB SFC games, but mostly buy loose famicom games these days where I can.

I believe it was ~$85 plus shipping from eBay. I actually found it somewhat locally which is more surprising. It is in great shape!
