He said McKids isn't a game for the FamicomBox, and I'm also pretty sure it's not.  When he said MMC0, he was referring to the mapper.  FamicomBox games are all games that use a simple, less complicated mapper.  Some of the games you have listed are not actual FamicomBox games.  Where did you see a McKids FamicomBox cartridge?

I sent djense1 a list of famicombox games I made.  A few years ago, there was a site dedicated to famicombox (I think it was famicombox.co.jp) and they had this game listed.  The actual name should be donaldland. I don't own it, so I can't confirm it exists and I didn't save a picture of it.

The list from the FW article does list McKids (although you're probably right in that it should be Donaldland).  I don't know where FW's list came from.  I'll have to ask JC.

I've seen pictures of a Famicom Box version of Rockman which uses a UNROM MMC, so I can definitely debunk the "no games with memory controller" theory.

For the record, there is no such thing as MMC0.  What you are referencing are games that have no memory-management controller (MMC), which would be "simple" games.  A "mapper" is what is used by emulators to emulate the functionality of MMCs.  Games without an MMC use a so-called "mapper 0", which really just means that's it's not using a mapper.  It does not refer to an MMC named MMC0.

Thanks for the famicombox.co.jp tip.  It's actually famicombox.com, and archive.org has a decent backup of it.  You can see their list of games here:
