Even though it's hard to find, and people usually don't want to sell,
i'll ask anyway. If someone have either the loose cart or boxed mr. gimmick for the famicom for sale,
im ready to pay a good sum for this=)

If your willing to settle with a unofficial copy of the game people often have those for sale. But for all the time I have *never seen anyone ever selling an official copy.

Right now I can get a complete copy for 17100 Yen (210$). Plus shipping plus some $ for my time.
That's usually much more than anybody is ready to pay.
(I'm sure it's cheaper maybe in some part of Japan, but I can only report what I personally can get my hands on.)

Another thing is, for such an expensive item I'd want payment in advance of course, because you can never be sure the buyer will pay in the end.

Wow, thats crazy Manuel. So what caused Gimmick! to be such an expensive game, is it rare or just sought after?

(i already got the pirate (pipe) cart, but since the sound chip isn't pirated as well, the sounds is just awful) =)

I only see a boxed copy right now, but sometimes there are loose carts for around 100.

I don't know why it's so expensive. It's probably a mix or rarity and high popularity.

I see, kind of like with the original 2 Zelda games, I see copies everywhere I go yet they both still sell for $15 each but in reality they should be like $6 max.

urgh, so annoying, i bought the cart for aprox 42 dollars at Japan Game stock once, but needed money and needed to sell it...damn this economy!!

Gimmick is one of the games I splurged on.

I knew I had to have it.  Got it for 10000yen with case, no manual.

The same store has Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa for 20000yen but that's more than I'd like to pay, particularly when I'd settle for just the cartridge.
A nearby store to that has it for 15700yen in a bit weaker condition, but I'm going to hold out for a bit longer.
