So does Metroid use the North American password feature, but uses the Japanese title screen?

I think it port from FDS because it cannot  save or fill password.  :-\

Jedi Master Baiter

Does it let you choose a file?

I saw a famicom game converter thing for the NES to sale today... But, I didn't have enough money, so I bought Strider.

That's awesome, man. Jedi ought to take a look, maybe he'll see some diffs in the screens, but doesn't look to unique to me. I like the Cony font...same as Sony. :D

Jedi Master Baiter

That is just like Sony! :o

I have this same game, but in a yellow cartridge.

It all looks the same, even the crappy two-button scheme.

Has anyone seen a boxed Super Mario World or Somari?  I found them for $20 and $30 respectively.  I'm wondering if this is worth it, seems a little pricey.

kite200

if they're that cheap, buy the somari and sell it on yhj for 200

It seems a little excessive for pirated games, they aren't from my usual supplier.  But, they appear to be new as well.  He's also got CIB/NEW Fighting Hero III, Fatal Fury II, Aladdin, Samurai Spirit 2 and World Heroes 2 Pro.

Definitely worth the price. Boxed Somari sells for about $65 on eBay, even in bad condition. I've never seen a boxed SMW, so I imagine the price would be higher, much higher.

madman

They're all around $20-$30 boxed or CIB.  He says he has two Somaris and two Super Mario Worlds :)

kite200

get all of them and sell the extras to people like say, me

I forgot to mention this, but about two years I found a NES pirate console called NASA Entertainement system that is region lock free, 1/3 the size of the orginal, and looks like the original one too! :D And instead of putting the cartridge and pushing it down, all you have to do is push it in and play! It has AV and RF outputs and uses the same voltage as the original one. And the games on it play beautifully without any blinking...and it plays Castle Vania 3!(I mention this because many NES clones arent able to play this game...wonder why?) It's the best NES console I ever had! ;D
