Your not wrong, just found one on ebay us $249.99  :o

O well nes version it is then.

That's loony: it's nowhere near that rare. Please send me a link to that auction so that I can see it for myself...

Rarity 5.5 is more accurate, thinking bout it, which is around the ¥2,888  to ¥3,888 price range, cart-only, for boutique-store pricing. That translates to between $35 and $50 when buying from an importer , but not $250...probably not even if it's NOS...

I'll put it this way, out of 5,500 bulk cassettes that I imported a while back, there was *one* of this game, and dozens of the other two (the two arcade games) and no 'Tournament Fighter' carts.  Maybe ¥988 to ¥1,488 at the junk shoppes. Anyhow, it's far less common than the first two Famicom releases (the 2nd and 3rd games here) but more common than the 'Tournament Fighter' game. I find it very hard to play though, as the graphics are extremely flicker-y and glitch-y and the controls seem sluggish.

I don't recall if the USA release was also this way though. Perhaps both games are like that, or perhaps the FC release has different timing for some reason. Either that, or both versions have horrible amounts of flicker and controls that feel very stiff. Konami really botched this one IMHO... They could have done much better, but I guess it wasn't done by their A(Team., being made specially for the USA market initially. .  :bomb:

I don't recall 'Tournament Fighter' being released for FC. Then again with all the bootlegs, who's to say what's real or not anymore for Famicom?  :D
