Rockman 2 is my least favorite of the series, actually. At least as far as the original six are concerned. And that says a lot because Rockman 2 is still one of my favorite games ever, just my least favorite of the series. Didn't like any of the robot masters, liked very few of the songs, makes me miss the slide and the charged shot. The dragon in Wily's first stage is awesome, though. I'll admit that's one of my favorite bosses in a Rockman game.

Rockman 2 is my favorite  :'( Woodman's stage will always hold a special place in my heart.

Also, nothing like a fresh console and some games!

My favorite stage in Rockman  is probably... Ring Man's stage! From the fourth installment!

Lovely new console, sir. I'm sure the fellow that sold you MC Mario and Pizza Pop Mary is a kindhearted gentleman.

Are there any gameplay differences between the FC and NES versions of the Rock/Mega Man games? I'm enough of a Mega Man nut that I think I'll end up buying boxed/CIB FC versions although I already have an almost CIB US set (I need a manual for MM4!). And I don't even avidly collect boxes for NES or FC games.

I'd be hard-pressed to pick a favorite between the 6 original games, but it probably wouldn't be the 6th one. I saw through the dopey beard-and-sunglasses disguise the first time I played the game, and I was 13.

I'm also expecting a Pizza Pop from manuel as we speak. That should be fun, as well as the Paaman 2 that should be in the same package.

There aren't any gameplay differences between Mega Man and Rockman series. There's some story text in the beginning and end of most of them that is different (language differences, duh), and the titles of 2-6 have subtitles in Japanese. Otherwise, identical.

3 is the best :)

The only difference I can think of is the addition of easy (or "normal") mode in Mega Man 2, which is just ridiculous. Practically every other enemy gives you a big health powerup in that version.

What also might be worth mentioning is the large picture of Rockman which was present in the title screen for Rockman 3, but removed for Mega Man 3. No clue why they took that out, it's pretty cool.

On that note the title screen for Megaman 1 is also different.  Not a gameplay difference, but yeah.

I'm with Manuel and Nusilver, Rockman 3 is my favourite. Rockman 2 is good but Rockman 1 and 3 is better IMO. Rockman 6 is also one of the better Rockmans.

Here are the games I got. The first four are from Manuel the Great, so thank you for them, Manuel.

Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger
Tokkyu Shirei Solbrain (So great to finally play Shatterhand's Japanese Area C!)
NY Nyankies
Kaiketsu Yanchamaru

Saiyuki World II, Gun Nac, Hoshi No Kirby, Bomberman II, Time Zone, Gekitotsu Yonku Battle, Palamedes II, Chuka Taisen, Pajama Hero Nemo.

Ninja Crusaders Ryuga, Rockman 3, Dragon Fighter, Donald Land, Kage, Tiny Toon Adventures, Ninja Cop Saizou, Altered Beast (I forget the Japanese name for it.), Insector X.

Parodius, Ducktales, Mighty Final Fight.

That's all for now. I've never really played Dragon Fighter until I got this copy of it, and I must say it's one of my favorite games now. I'd highly recommend it to any Natsume fan, or fans of side-scrolling action games in general.

Time Zone, Palamedes II, and Insector X? I'm jealous. And yeah, I've got the NES version of Dragon Fighter. It's a fine, under-appreciated game.

Yeah Time Zone is a cool game, a lot of aspects of its gameplay actually remind me of Yo! Noid. Which isn't a bad thing, as I do like Yo! Noid. The music in Time Zone is pretty neat.
