Cool. I bought one of those from MWK as well, and I really enjoy it.

Recent haul from senseiman and a beautiful conversion of my MOTHER cart into the unmodified US EarthBound proto from Leon Kiriluk (it's truly amazing to play on real hardware)

Glad they arrived, Star Wars should be an interesting experience for you :)

I am rubbish at Star Wars :)

It's like the characters are running on oil or ice!

I've gone and done it now... I've won some pretty awesome famicom gear/memorabilia in the past few weeks (will post pics later), but today's win is the grand cherry on top....    just won a silver Sharp C1!  :star: (pics below taken from both auctions)

Actually had to piece it together over 2 auctions. A few weeks ago I won an auction for a pair of silver Sharp C1 controllers. At the time I thought it was for the whole unit (not just controllers only), especially considering what the bidding and final went for.

I started regretting having won it. Lot of dough for some "nice looking" controllers I'd never be able to use due to their special plugs. But everything happens for the better and a reason... as a few days ago, an actual silver Sharp C1 TV unit popped up. Dropped in my bid and crossed my fingers. Have wanted one for a while, unfortunately much rarer than it's NES and SFC counterparts.

As of this morning victory was mine!  ;D

It's missing the front glass, but maybe I can have a new one cut locally. Might be a blessing in disguise too that will save on shipping. I've shipped CRT TVs from Japan to the States before...

Nice finds!  I'd really like a Moon Crystal, but I'd like a Sharp C1 even more :)

Stealthlurker I have a brand new (with film and original box) C1 controller as well, but no C1 :D

So controllers were sold separately? That's interesting. Would you mind showing a pic of the box?

As for the C1 itself... I've heard all of these are RGB internally, unlike the SFC units where only the larger 19" one has an RGB connection from the TV to the SFC unit?
