Check out what I found in a lot of carts I bought off Yahoo Auctions:

If it is legit I think it is one of the coolest things I have ever found!

Really awesome that's why I like buying big lots of famicom games that you don't know what all games they contain cause you can find treasures like this. This reminds me of this dumb ass guy that unknowingly cleaned off shigeru miyamoto signature on a game & watch. http://www.damntechnology.blogspot.ca/2010/09/how-to-disassemble-and-clean-game-watch.html?m=1  :-[ what in ass.

LMAO!!!  I have never seen that before but that is hilarious!  Actually I feel bad for that guy, and for the loss, that was a beautiful autograph on there.

Nice find. At first glance I thought it was a Famicom cart signed from Game Center CX. What are the chances of finding those anywhere really, I always wondered!  :bub:

MWK

Nope, it has "Gold Mario" = "SMB2 Lost Levels".

ooo... thats a really cute case :v is it that color on the inside too?

L___E___T

Thanks!  No it's just white, not the sturdiest case and a tad girly, but I think it's pretty cute with the window and all.

@nerdynebraskan Congrats on the complete AV famicom! Looks like it's in great condition too.

@senseiman Wow that signed cart is like a gift from above!  :o

@L_E_T Great haul! Especially digging that case and Dragonquest record! That case is extra cool for 2 reasons... one it was a gift from your other and two it totally reminds me of the japanese super dodgeball! Down to the color and pattern with the lettering.... the window with the logo is a cool touch too. NICE!

By the way, what's that red "adapter" like item?? Also I just noticed it... what's up with that Christian Dior behind the carts  ;D

SMB2j is broken. It only has world 1-4. When you beat 4-4 the game just hangs up with a black screen. On AV Famicom when you reset the multicart sometimes shows you a glitched screen. This multi isn't that good imo.

Does it save?

No, there's no SRAM chip nor a spot for a battery

How could you come to that question?

@Masterdisk - I forget which JY-XXX has the full version on it, thought from the excitement it might have been this one :)

@Stealthlurker - the red adaptor is just a cart cleaning device, it has slots to clean the Famicom and Super Famicom bays, then on the back a little other pen-like extension to clean carts with.  I've had to use it on some, it works well.
The Dior bag was the only sturdy white bag I could find, from one of my lady's handbags.  I try and keep the boxes she doesn't want and use them as luxury cart/game/console boxes.  Stick a bit of foam in and they work well, they look nicer than keeping things in storage boxes and I don't have to hide them out of sight.  I still prefer Famicom cases though.

@Nerdynebraskan - That is a great AV Famicom!  Is it the first you've had?  If so let us know how it fits after a couple of weeks - when I first upgraded to one I wasn't sure but now I recommend them to everybody, they're so good aren't they!
