Picked up a few good things recently - a boxed Famicom Robot, block set and brand new pair of 3D glasses that are in pristine condition, so much so that I'm too scared to open them!

Nice finds all!  This turned up last week - but I'm stumped as to why the manual is separate?  Is there a larger box I'm missing?  The manual won't fit inside the box!

Manuel - I think you have this and am hoping you can help answer my manual question :D
If anyone else know, please pipe up!

[UPDATE] This listing doesn't have it, plus I forgot to say that it's more of a sales sheet / sales brochure than a manual...

Frank - nice finds there!  I love that block set especially.

L E T - According to the cover that is an `official strategy guide`, so it was probably sold seperately from the game originally.

manuel

Senseiman said it already, it's a strategy guide. But cool nonetheless.  :)

I'm on a trip at the moment, today I picked this beauty up:

How much was it?  :coin: :coin: :coin:
I'm also on the look for one, but CIB if possible. Those are quite expensive right now...

Well, I traded in a couple crappy games, so I ended up getting it for just under $25 dollars. I love the Rockman series, and the original just happens to be my favorite of the original 6. (Though I haven't met anyone who shares this preference...)

And wow, having it CIB would be marvelous. I imagine that would set you back quite a bit.

A mega man collecting friend of mine, who has every almost Mega Man game released CIB, also likes mega man 1 best because it is shortest...
I think I like the first game for the Game Boy best, because it is brutal. Most people quit on the first stage.

You have Japanese retoro stores in Seattle?

Yeah, I remember playing Mega Man 1 on Game Boy... it was tough. The final boss really pissed me off, but after much time I beat it.

As for why I like MM1 on FC/NES the best... I think it's the bosses. I don't know, for some reason they're my favorite set of Robot Masters.
