Today I got my AV Famicom in the mail. I guess this is what I'll be using to play my games from now on, so yay.
So ends another chapter in the glorious legend of the Ninja... Until next time...

I stand by it. They do not look to be in nice condition, judging by the picture posted. They all look used, have worn out corners, spider web creases, probably worn out flaps, etc. etc..

$250, yeah, I can get all that stuff for about that price in that condition direct from Japan.

Sounds like an amazing deal, why don't you buy it?
Maybe if you seek loose carts it's easy, but if you want this stuff boxed then it's an entirely different story. I am always watching boxed Famicom stuff on YAJ and while I know that 43k does not sound like a bargain, I think it's a good price.
I've been collecting CIB Famicom games off YAJ for around 4 years now which is enough for me to judge that your $250 is way too low for these boxed games, even if the games are not mint. But I have not received them yet, so maybe they're in better shape than assumed. They look pretty nice on the pictures though, especially considering their age of 25-28 years.

Misc. finds but have not seen these before in my japan flea market hunts over the last 2 years. Happy I got Goof Troop CIB. Never saw a loose cart so this was good to see. Then the famicom network controller...I dont have the rest but for 100yen or $1 I bought it. Definitely a cool controller and Have it next to my hori famicom controller and 3D system :)

Nice heads up, I see them pop up on Yahoo Japan from time to time. A boxed one floats around 10k Yen.

Would like to eventually pick one up someday, but there are others higher on my want list.  ;)

10K?  It's a homebrew!  Why don't people just make their own?

MasterDisk

L_E_T, I think you could have put that in Auction board ;)

Also I guess it uses a special mapper and it's always much much much better to have something in original form (and it is boxed with manual)

I didn't know where to put it in the board, it didn't seem like it needed it's own thread.
I thought "I suppose I 'found' the listing so why not" :)

Please delete if it's a problem, I'll remember it for next time though.

No goof troop love or anything ;_; haha so I was sorta pissed cause when I got home and opened ge box it didn't has the instructions! Usually they mark of its missing it. I'd go complain but it's 16km away and I woulda payed 5 bucks for the cart loose anyways. But damn a bummer

Really? Cause I've used them for 2 years and this is the first problem. I've tracked down and visited close to all of them in tochigi, saitama and Tokyo.
Is the famicom network hard to come by? Guessing yj has it but I'm more of a go to stores and find new things like a treasure hunt :) like I got 2 weeks ago Mickey 3 for sfc mislabeled for 100 yen when it's really a 900-1700yen game :) without box. Bought it as a duplicate or to be sold later
