Don't get me wrong, I go to Hardoff from time to time but it's more of a gamble with them than most places.  They use those atrocious stickers that are impossible to get off if they've been on too long and a lot of times they'll even tape up the sides of CIB games at certain ones.  You just don't always know what you're gonna get.

I have a Famicom Network System with the controller and a JRA horse racing card, think I got it for about 700 yen on YJA cause I was gonna write an article about it then never did.

I also find Hard Off to be hit and miss, at least with the junk section stuff.  I`ve had a few things that I thought were CIB only to find missing manuals or badly damaged carts sitting inside the nice boxes.

And boy do I ever hate those price tags too!!! >:(  A trip to Hard Off usually can be broken down like this:

30 minutes: Ride out to Hard Off
45 minutes: Looking around the store, checking all the bins for anything I want to buy.  Making purchases.
30 minutes: Ride back home
6 Hours 48 minutes: Peeling tiny bits of stubborn Hard Off price tags off the fronts of carts.  Cursing as I do so.

We should open a "hard-off price sticker hate group". Damn, I hate those price stickers.  >:(

Not a big deal to remove'em :)
I don't buy, sell or trade at moment.
But my question is how hackers at that time were able to hack those games?(c)krzy

manuel

Some sticker can be removed with the use of alcohol and much patience, but when they put the sticker directly on a cardboard Famicom box and then plaster a layer or two of sturdy clear tape over it, then it's virtually impossible to remove that sticker without damaging the box.
Let's face it, in terms of price stickers, Hard-Off employees are morons.

Heatgun use, Luke, when remove sticker need :)

maybe they doing that just for lulz?

My homage to the Hard Off price tag:

Poor hard off. I've run into the box problem before but usually on carts the sticker is on the back. Haven't dealt with a front one yet :) some I've visited also put them in bags then put a sticker on that!

Stealth lurker nice gun!

Here's a cool BIN lot I got on ebay. It wasn't what I would call super cheap, but I think there is some fantastic stuff in here.  :)

Haha, I owned one of those Gamate's as a kid! They used to be a poor man's Game Boy, but now are rather expensive. Funny how things change.

Good score on the boxed rack too.

Yeah, the Gamate and boxed rack were indeed what caught my eye the most. :)
