I doubt he'll try to outbid himself ;)

Just got myself this baby here:

Not quite a holy grail but a pretty hard to find game nonetheless.  Also now currently the most expensive Famicom game I have ever purchased, though I got it for a fair bit less than what it goes for on Ebay.

Ryo

Very nice Akumajo Dracula!!!!!!!!!  :o

Woo-hoo, Just scored a Family Adaptor! Darn thing cost me more than an AV Famicom console, but I look forward to playing around with it when it arrives. I always wanted to play an FDS on an unmodded NES! :D

lobdale

Pretty fringe useful.  Wonder if it sends the extra audio channel?

I kinda doubt it, since it would require a console mod. It's still a pretty fun toy that nobody else has made.

GohanX

Not really a find, but a creation!

No original Mother cartridges were harmed in the making of this game.

That's lovely.  I picked up some new stuff rrecently as well, I don't usually bother posting but figured I should start.

I now need to find the others...

Also picked up some Korean famicom games.
These are obviously not officially licensed, but I see them kinda like the Supervision carts that Singapore had.

Some other stuff on the way, I've mainly been picking up Super Famicom bits lately.

More Family Basic goods!

Me and My Family Basic Classroom     ぼくとわたしのファミリーベーシック教室

Found another book in the same series as the one I scanned before.  This one only covers some very basic stuff, but it does have listings for a few games at the end.

Nintendo Family Computer and Family Basic Guide Book     任天堂のファミリーコンピュータファミリーベーシックがわかる本

This is a book and cassette combo.  The book contains guides for a few games (Lode Runner, Nuts & Milk, 4人打ちマージャン) and also has a sweet manga that teaches BASIC.  There are more game listings in the back of this one, some of which actually look pretty good!  The cassette packaging has a cool Hudson tape seal on it -- going to feel kinda bad opening up this one.

I feel bad, I said I'd record these for the site and completely forgot about it...

I also looked at that seal and knew I couldn't open it...

You should have mentioned the seal!  I don't know how I'm going to be able to open this without feeling guilty :-[

And don't feel bad about the recordings.  I'll probably type up the examples from the book and post wav files at some point.

Loving the Basic gear!

Can't wait to test out those wav files. :)

I absolutely love those CIB games for the Family Trainer.  I have them all loose but now am thinking of getting some complete ones.

Those Korean games are awesome too.  I was in Seoul last year and I really wanted to find some old school Korean Famicom stuff while I was there, but they changed their power grid in the 1990s, which instantly rendered all home electronics produced in the 1980s and before useless so retro game stuff from the Famicom era seems to be quite rare there (and thus I came home empty handed).
