wow, im jealous that you have the complete pulse line set MIB.. all i have is the set cartridges only..
I am a big Nintendo fan! especially GameBoy, N64, SFC, GC. And of course Mario games
I collect SFC/N64 mainly. Some rare famicom stuff too. Also miscellaneous video game stuff.

Looks really nice L_E_T! Once you play with it let us now what you think. I have a feeling I'm gonna need one of those soon.

Anyone else getting one of these?  I don't think my Powerpak's going to get much use from here out...

I have mine ordered as well, and also planned on putting it in a Salamander cart (have one here with the front label off ready to be trimmed down once the board comes in).  It does look like there are a few little tabs and notches that will need to be trimmed down a good bit to make the Everdrive fit in.  Did you just use an exacto knife or something?  I feel like getting it all set up in a cart shell is gonna be a project in itself.

I used a craft knife, I am not sure what an exactly knife is but it's not too tricky, mostly just trial and error.
I would say it is a project in itself, to do it smartly and beautifully.

Its just a brand name for a hobby knife sort of like how people call  an adhesive bandage a "Band Aid" at least in the states I heard they call them plaster's in the UK

That's pretty much what I used, thanks for the tip ;)

By the way here's a clearer picture of the board front if you want to consider making amends to a cart in advance.

I've ordered two more Salamander carts to use in the meantime in case I don't get it right first time.  I like the game, so I'll swap it out into the shell of some not so good games and put their PCBs to one side.

Ah thanks!  I still am not sure I'll be able to get the cart apart without wrecking it, but not sure if I wanna spring for a quick grip.

Post more pictures!  I am craving them.

8bit games are so tiny i'm thinking can load the majority of the tiles with 4gb sd

L___E___T

You should be able to fit every NES/Famicom/FDS game on there - but I'd recommend against downloading and adding a compete platform library - it'll be 50% rubbish, just pluck the best games and build a library from there.

Start with Satoshi Matrix's top 100, or a personal memories list and then make folders for hacks, protos and betas etc. or something along those lines, you won't need 4GB that's for sure.

Would just a 1 GB Card do for Famicom/NES Games?

If you only played the best ones, absolutely.  Micro SD cards are cheap though so you can always replace it with a bigger one later if you needed.

[UPDATE]
Got a nice find this weekend.  I'd asked my lady to bring back something from Hong Kong.  She guessed it was games and asked what type so I just said 'famicom games', which came as no surprise.

This is what she brought back:

I was pretty amazed, I was expecting a couple of pirate games!  What a gift.

As well as that, NintendoDork sorted me out with this awesome little score as well:

It was a San Diego Comic Con exclusive, I've been playing a lot of Castlevania lately so decided to pick it up as it looked pretty unique.

There are 1000 of these.
Thanks Dork!!

Nice!!  I've only seen the Simon's Quest version that I got as a preorder at Gamestop, yours looks much better.

L___E___T

Can you post the Simon's Quest version?  Wish I could get one of those as well.

Ah, found it - I like it:

Nightstar699

Very cool... other than the fact it says stage 3, when it clearly represents stage 1!
So ends another chapter in the glorious legend of the Ninja... Until next time...

L___E___T

Yeah I think it's because it was the third round of Castlevania figures they made.  Daft though.
