No it was yamatoku-classic if I wouldn't have bid you would have gotten that lot for 2.34 I was the first bidder at 1.99 honestly not much slips by me on ebay unless I'm feeling lazy

Whoops, got my 2 ebay sellers mixed up, you're right. it was yamatoku. I was the first to bid and it got up to 70 something dollars?

Finally found a copy of this cart, on Famicom format.  Yay!

By owning Golden Games 260, I now have every Hwang Shinwei game in my possession.  All of the games that were released as single carts I own on single carts, and the 260 includes several Shinwei games that weren't ever released anywhere else.

The stupid thing was, I almost passed this cart by because the seller was trying to overcharge me on it, since I was not a local.  I left but then returned ten minutes later and bought the cart anyway, because I knew I would be regretting it if I didn't.

That's great, getting closer to your admirably insane goal  :bub:  You have to get these things when you find them.
I had a similar scenario with a Hong Kong Famicom, but in the end I bought it because it was still a steal.

Well, I have some more famicom finds, handbills this time.  Lots of pictures here!

There's also a nice FDS piece on last month's Retro Gamer, I hope anyone interested can read the text:

If you do want to read both pages, go here and view the pictures full size:

Yup, in my case the game was still a steal (and the price included a beat up, dirty..yet working Famicom clone), but the game was overpriced to the point where my Taiwanese girlfriend would have been angry had she known about it.  Heh.

Those handbills look really nice.  I recently found a (modern) set of Mario wall stickers and threw a few up on the wall by my gaming set up.  I would love to have a few handbills hanging too, but due to the cost of those things, it just isn't worth hanging them and then taking the risk of getting them sunfaded.

Let me know if you change your mind.  I have some more for cheap in my sale thread.

I know what you mean about hiding the prices of things.  I've stopped that now and realised I was spending way too much on famicom stuff.  I've since really regulated how much I spend, which is why I am selling stuff now to buy the MegaDrive.

I was only able to get that because Manuel gave me a great deal and even then it's been bought for me as a Christmas present by my awesome girlfriend.

Thanks, it has some very light crinkles, but that's fine by me.  Ironically the Dracula 2 is my favourite, despite being the lowest condition out of these.  The SMB USA is my least favourite, but is absolutely mint and pristine, it was also the cheapest.  I have some duplicate handbills in my sale thread (check my sig) that I'll sell or trade for bargain prices.  I am not buying so much anymore so I'm looking to get rid of this stuff.

got myself an awesome storage cabinet at a garage sale today

Nice cabinet - the colour coding suits fami carts really well.  I have those converters too, I bought a few cheap but I always see them listed for lots more.  I guess NES collectors value them highly.

I really like that cabinet too.  How much did it run you, if you don't mind me asking?  Also, did you manage to get the key for that thing?!

I agree with everyone else. Wicked cabinet.

Just found these two yesterday, when hunting.

Final Fight, unlicensed original game based off of Capcom's Final Fight series.  I only had a few moments to play this game so far, but it seems excellent in terms of quality.

Another JY Company cart, just a boring cart with sports games.

Are you sure it's not just a pirate copy of Might Final Fight?
