I had a few games incoming recently, sorry it's a mix of Famicom and Super Famicom:

Skip to 1 minute 40 seconds to skip my initial babble. Also, Abadox isn't a platformer like I said in the video haha, it's a shmup :P Also I meant Mega Man 9 and 10 for PS3 and not 8 and 9 :P

Does it save?

No, there's no SRAM chip nor a spot for a battery

I'd argue with that, while there truly isn't a battery spot to be found anywhere on the board, the SRAM is indeed present, to support that, you can easily create a player profile in such games that utilize this feature as Zelda or in Bombliss, successfully reset the entire console (of course using the Reset button, not the ON/OFF switch) and your saves spots are still gonna be available UNTIL you overwrite it running some other game that uses SRAM.

As for the SMB2j I can't confirm that at the moment, will try to get past level 4-4, however I was using my Twin "The Beast" Famicom for the whole time (as well as some other legit famiclones) and haven't seen no glitches of any kind, I dunno about that MD.

You can try with a cheat code for SMB2j.

Press the direction then press start (and keep pressing the d-pad until the stage screen appear)

Right + Start = 1-1
Right-Up + Start 2-1
Up + Start = 3-1
Up-Left + Start = 4-1
Left + Start = 5-1
Left-Down + Start = 6-1
Down + Start = 7-1
Down-Right + Start = 8-1

From 5-1 to 8-1, they should all crash the game or load the [x-4]-1 stage.
You can access A B C D by pressing A and the same buttons. I think it crashes the game too (but i'm not sure...?)

Awesome find and thats a good price for those.  I just have Sqoon but I`ve been trying to find the other ones, seems they usually go for 2000-3000 yen each on Yahoo Auctions.

Hey stealthlurker,I would kill for those vinyls, where could I find them?

stealthlurker

These ones in particular I got from Yahoo Japan, though they also pop up on Ebay from time to time. Good luck!

P

Those vinyls has great music. Especially the one with Nazo no Murasame-jou and Zelda.

stealthlurker

I'm not that big of a game music guy, but I agree they are pretty sweet.
