It was a lot, but fair imho given the condition. Though not as much as the Sharp famicom TV I've got coming  :)

Damn dude! You found a C1 on yahoo?

stealthlurker

Yeah. They hardly ever appear....  first time I saw one there. So I had to do my duty lol  ;D

Got the Top Rider inflatable motorcycle controller a couple days ago. I`m way too old to use it, but had to give it a try nonetheless:

Nice!  I am really glad to see some love for this on here, it's a particular favourite of mine.  I have two of these in the end and also the game loose, because I really love the idea of what this is.  Like you I also fondly remember Hang Out arcade machines and the like, which were particularly fun for me because I was too young to ride a real sports bike and my Pop is a massive motorcycle fan (he helps run a FW-like site for old Japanese bikes) too.
Unlike you however, I have never been brave enough to test it out, so I thoroughly enjoyed the blog post!  Such grace! :D

I was able to find a brand new one from Panama years and years ago when I fist moved to London, but when it arrived customs had destroyed the box looking for something undesirable inside, I was furious.  Luckily, I found another brand new one some years later, so I have one sitting around for when I have kids of my own one day, or at least as a display piece.

Pro Tip when inflating anything like this if you don't have an airpump or similar lying around - use a hairdryer through a cardboard tube (like a wrapping paper one) to quickly inflate with cool air.  If you don't use the cardboard tube, it can get too hot.

LOL, if you ever get the chance do test it out!  Just don`t do it when anyone else is around unless you want to get laughed at  ;D

Good tip about the hair dryer, next time I will try it that way.

And that totally sucks about customs messing up the box, that is one of the best parts (I wish I had one CIB)!

From 5-1 to 8-1, they should all crash the game or load the [x-4]-1 stage.
You can access A B C D by pressing A and the same buttons. I think it crashes the game too (but i'm not sure...?)

Yes MD, you was right about the missing (or not loading) later stages, that's odd, however the cartridge runs nice and smooth on any of my consoles, original or not. Thanks anyway for pointing this out tho.

I might actually already have it as a duplicate - I couldn't remember so I picked it up, but if I do I will let you know.  Have the NES game CIB if you want that?

Hey, if you have a duplicate, please let me know and I would love to purchase it off of you.

I (well my brother and I) have a CIB copy of the game, US version, from when we were growing up.  My brother had seen the game in one of his strategy guides as a kid, and of course I was 5 years younger and my reading was not nearly as advanced as his, so I just looked at the pics and he would read the articles / reviews.  We then were at Sears one day with the folks and happened to see that game for sale.  I'm not exactly sure what happened next, though my brother would certainly remember, but we ended up buying the game then and there and ever since have been playing it.  I think Nemo is a fun game, but it also has a lot of nostalgic value for me.
