Hi Stealthlurker, can you tell us some more about that family writer?

It did not come with a power supply so I couldn't quickly try it out. I'll need to find a suitable alternative before I can fire it up.

I'm confused, what does it do, duplicate carts? Looks like a sweet piece of hardware either way  :o

It's a very limited copier, as it can only copy games which do not use any form of bankswitching. I assume it was for copying rented/borrowed games, since Japan is a very rental oriented society, or at least it use to be. It's extremely simple hardware, as it literally just makes a 1:1 copy.  An acquaintance of mine use to have one before he sold it due to lack of space.
Here are a few games I am looking for right now
Super Puzzle Fighter II X (Sega Saturn)
GeGeGe no Kotarou (Sega Saturn)
Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu (Sega Saturn)
KiKi KaiKai (PC Engine) (CIB)
Puzzle Bobble (Super Famicom) (CIB)

I thought renting used to be illegal in Japan? Or was that not always the case? Learn something new every day...

Maybe it use to be? If it was though it would be before the Famicom days, because I have several Famicom carts with rental labels still on them, and I know Japan still produces rental versions of DVDs which have the extras stripped off them as ''encouragement'' for people to buy the full release.

Brought some stuff back from the States.  Some of it I had and rediscovered on my last trip back, others were things I had purchased over the course of 2014 and had shipped to the USA, due to sellers not shipping to Taiwan.  Enjoy!

I also had more NES stuff I brought back, but my camera battery went dead before I could snap pics.

Whoa, that's a hell of a haul! I'm pretty jealous of the Game Theory Admiral.

Some recent acquisitions.

The Famulator and light gun weren't things I was specifically after, but were included in a bulk bundle of fami carts I purchased. The Famulator is cool but clones aren't my thing so I will be selling it. The gun is awesome and I will be keeping it for sure.

The Wondermega I obtained cheaply as unconfirmed junk, fortunately it works perfectly.

The twin at the front is rgb/s-video modded, the one at the rear is stock standard and will also go up for sale.

Nice on the WonderMega!?!  Can I ask how much you spent on it?

大事なのは、オチに至るまでの積み重ねなのです。

16500 Yen for the Wondermega.

Oh, that is more than what I'd want to pay for an untested WM!  Nice finds though, gotta love the Kosenjyou!
