hi guys, just want to ask if anybody can help me regarding my intellivision 2's power supply. i don't have the original adapter when i got it. its odd that it has 16.2v rating on it. so how can i resolve this dilemma? cant find any adapter that can fit right in its rating

can i use the standard 15v?
ac only right?

thanks!

You can use any 9-10V power supply on it that fits. The Intellivision II uses an AC power supply like the NES so it doesn't matter if you use a DC power supply or not. I use a generic Radio Shack 10V power supply with mine and it works fine.

9v? well i do have that voltage adapter thats fits it but, wont it burn out or probably destroy the board? i thought power shortages and over supply can cause damage to systems? or am i wrong.

btw thank you so much for the response sir. anybody else? thanks allot!

The INTV II doesn't require much voltage, just 9-10V won't hurt it. The voltage gets stepped down regardless. Just make sure the amperage is over 1A and you'll be fine.
