Hey everyone, does anyone own all night nippon, and could do a high resolution scan of the insert? =)

This would be a very bad idea, as it'll open up the way for every scammer in the universe to create counterfeits of it, not to mention repro NES games using the original artwork that some of us pay through the nose to own. There is a good reason that high-resolution scans of rare FC and FDS games aren't in circulation.

I can get you a watermarked scan of it, in time. I have it, of course, but it's a huge file and will take forever-and-a-day to upload. (Scanned from my No.2 original master), with watermarks that I use for my reproductions (which are also clearly marked on the label). :bomb:

P.S. The 'title card' insert is called an obi.

Ah, i always thought the OBI was the extra insert with additional information, and have only my japanese laserdiscs to compare to, so all lose inserts are obis then? =) and i would be happy with a watermarked one, i only want it for my own collection :)

Send me a P.M. with your e-mail address: I will upload it and send you a (temporary) link ASAP. What is the minimum resolution you would find acceptable? I think my master is 1,200DPI, which if far too lage to upload, so I will need to resample it. :bomb:

How secure is your water mark???? Make sure it is good because I can go into photoshop and take out most water marks. Its time intensive to do but be careful who you hand that out to Xious.

I don't think the title card is really an obi - obi means belt and usually refers to the dust sleeve-like strip around a a book, CD, DVD etc.
Inserts don't qualify as obi, but everything needs a label and each to their own.  Semantics interest me :D

I think they do qualify as obi as they are not just paper slips but they actually wrap around the disk.

My bad, that sounds exactly like an obi - even if it is on the inside.

Actually, it's a sash, tie or a decorative binding, generally on a kimono or other ceremonial outfit. The term is applied in this case to a decorative wrapper, as the obi insert serves as a wrapper around the disk card, inside the plastic shell, which contains artwork to decorate the product.

I'm sure other terms exist.

In any event, I ensure that my watermarks are not reversible easily. Given that he just wants a card for his own disk, it may be simpler to post one to him anyhow, as I have some spares printed and it'd be easier than uploading a gigantic file.  :bomb:.
