I moved this out of the Game Identification thread.

Oeka Kids: Anpanman to Oekaki Shiyou!! seems to have been sold with an accessory. I don't think I've ever seen that accessory. Anyone knows anything about it? Is it necessary for the game?

There is also another Oeka Kids game, "Oeka Kids: Anpanman no Hiragana Daisuki ".
Are they rare? Any info? Thanks.

wow, it's the THQ tablet 25 years in the past!

I've never seen this either, but I think the games are a bit more common.

Same with me.
I've never seen that tablet!  :o

It's been mentioned once before.  I've never seen one in action, just in an article or two:

I know mednafen can emulate it...maybe others can too.  The hiragana training part is actually pretty cool, although I have no idea what the responsiveness is like with the actual hardware vs the emulator.  (also not sure it tracks movement vs drawing...I think that second article explains it, but I could be wrong...).  There's also a "spot the differences" game in it, which is pretty cool.

I eventually found one...
