They are actually not super-expensive, I think I saw them on ebay for 300-400 $ ? A bit cheaper in Japan, maybe 250$. I considered buying them and selling everything separately in auctions, which seems to make a better profit. Not the most constructive thing to do.

They are expensive if unopened - they dont come with games inside new!
I saw some listed recently in a very unclear fashion, suggesting they had all the games inside when in fact they're just the display cases...

Just a word of warning if youre thinking of picking these up.  250 bucks makes for an exoensive display case in my book.

It is a great find!   There are other cases actually, Nintendo Europe did a NES equivalent case or two.  It didn't look as nice, let me see if I can find a pic...
