Question about the outputs of a Twin Fami

Hey guys, after a little help...

On the Twin Fami, there's an expansion port located on the RHS of the console, towards the rear with a sliding cover. It appears to be the same type of plug as the one on the end of the disk system console t-adapter, but I can't seem to get it to fit in there (the sliding door is partially blocking access).

Is this expansion port intended to be used to connect a Famicom console to the disk system of the twin? If so, does this mean that my little sliding cover isn't sliding far enough (as it blocks the plug from being connected)? If not, what's this plug for?

133MHz

It's the same expansion port that the regular FDS RAM adapter has. To my knowledge it has never been used by an official accessory.

That's what I thought. So, in theory one could connect a Famicom console via this port and use the disk system of the twin? I know it's pointless but was just wondering if it would work.

I can't seem to connect my RAM adapter to it though, as the outer bit of the plug hits that sliding door part - or am I not trying hard enough?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but what 133Mhz means is that the expansionport on your TwinFC is the same as the port on your RAM Adapter. Take a look at the back of it and you'll find a small slide-door on it.

Yep, you're right, thanks for the correction. :)

It's dumb-proof - there is already RAM adapter inside.
System died before some usefull stuff appeared - they could get quite a big slice of market releasing system software for FDS.
I don't buy, sell or trade at moment.
But my question is how hackers at that time were able to hack those games?(c)krzy
