Hi all :)
Just wondered if it's possible to AV mod a Twin Famicom using the same/similar method to the original Famicom??
thanks

twin famicom already has av out, so this is a dumb question

I wasn't aware that it had an AV out, so therefore it is not a dumb question, just an ill-sourced one

Haha, thats okay. I wouldnt worry about asking questions like that. I'm just being a smartass, sorry. In addition to AV outs, you can also use the rf cable but I dont see why anyone would in 2007, although back in the eighties it may have made sense.

I'm in the U.K and know that the original Famicom's won't run on our TV's through RF so presumed the Twin was the same.
I'm teaching in Osaka for four months so plan to pick up a Twin now I know that it's AV though.
Cheers for answering my question Kite...in a round about way  :) thanks

Ah I see, just make sure your TV can support NTSC as well as PAL, but I know most newer tv's in europe do support both standards. The twin famicom is NTSC as are all others with the exception of the hong kong version famicom, which has a switch to toggle between 50 and 60hz.

If you plug a NTSC system into a PAL tv that doesnt support NTSC, you will either get a seriously fucked up picture, or none at all.
