Zelda Cartridge??

Hey, quick question:  Is the Famicom cartridge version of Zelda 1 the same as the FDS version, or is it the same as the American NES cartridge?  Thanks ahead of time!

i own the cart but have never played the fds version to my knowledge the cart is the same game minus the fds audio channels.
I found this which lists the differences http://tcrf.net/The_Legend_of_Zelda from a short skim through looks like they are the same game with some slight wording differences but its japanese so it doesnt matter to me,
