I am currently looking for a Sharp Twin Famicom, can anyone point me in the right direction price wise?  I'd prefer one with the original AC adaptor as well.  Loose console with hookups is fine, no box needed.

Thanks for your help!

PS.. and if anyone has a nice conditioned one for sale, let me know!  ;D

um, average in the us is about 100, but its known to vary and could cost up to 170

Don't trust my price quote, eh!? :P Kite could be right, but I think I've seen them for less, unless they're CIB -- then you're in trouble. :-X

well jc, you may have, but im talking in average. the prices for this stuff is all over and not too concrete, i've seen a broken twin sell for a 100, so obviously the market is a wreck

Not true.  Just wanted to get a variety of opinions.

For some reason I always though that they went for around $90-$100, not CIB though.  What is the longevity on these things?  Do they tend to be or not to be more reliable than the original Famicom and FDS?

Thanks!

JC

The main thing you've got to worry about is the disk belt. That seems to be the most unreliable part of both the FDS and the Twin.
