The demos are pretty good sized. They let you play the game, and end at a point that makes you want to play the full one.

MGS4 demo is about 20 minutes.

Sounds nice. 20 minutes for free... play it 3 times, that makes it an hour.

There are games I bought and didn't even play for an hour.
