I played CrossworDS (on the DS, obviously  ;D ).  Pretty fun game, if not a little too easy (especially the crossword puzzles).  I actually really need to pick up Disgaea DS again as I'm on the final chapter and have been for the last few months (too many other things going on to play it).

I made it farther on Goonies. :) Yet somehow I feel the waterfall level isn't really that far into the game. :(

Goonies is a great game. Congrats on your progress. I played and finished Parappa the Rapper 2....man it's a sweet game.

Jedi Master Baiter

I beat Goonies. :( Man, that was fast... & with all three lives! :o - technically it was only my third attempt at trying to beat the game.

Somehow I feel like I'm missing a bunch of stuff.

Been playing Faria on the NES (and Unreal II on the PC).  Faria has turned out to be much better than I expected and is a cross between the Dragon Warrior/Ultima/FF type games and Zelda/Willow style games (for combat).  I never liked the turn based fighting (especially the slow Ultima battles), so this is perfect I think.  The only thing that I would upgrade from the game is to have a dungeon map that shows the places you've been (like Zelda 1).  Then it would be fantastic (I've been through two towers and they can be confusing until you memorize everything--I have not been using a walkthrough, but did look at a FAQ for an item list since I had no idea what things did and expect the manual would have had these things).

One thing that is very interesting about Faria that cannot be a coincidence is that Faria and the SNES Zelda (Link to the Past) have a nearly identical means of upgrading an item.  I expect more people are familiar with the SNES Zelda and can recall the location that you can throw items in the water...throw something that can't be upgraded and you get it back, or if you throw the right item it gets an upgrade--each time a fairy comes out of the water and you are asked if you threw it in, and your honesty is rewarded if it is upgradeable

In Faria, there is a place you can throw items in the water...throw something that can't be upgraded and you lose it and get a fine, or throw the right item and a "goddess" comes and asks if you threw it in and rewards your honesty after you automatically say yes.

Seems too similar to be a coincidence, but not many people know about Faria.

Dr. Mario, I suck at puzzle games.

I've played too much Picross DS and Rittai Picross.

The chiseling haunts me in my dreams.  :D And then I can't sleep well, because I think of overly difficult problems.  :-\
