My gaming experience wasn't much fun yesterday: I just ran a gauntlet of testing about 50 SNES/Genesis junk sports games that I'd just gotten in.

Run Saber (SNES)

It was my first time playing this, and I'd never really heard of it before. It came in a lot of garbage sports games that I bought on the cheap for store credit, and I was just kind of pleased at the time because this is a somewhat expensive SNES game. But this is actually a pretty enjoyable action game. I'll have to play it again here pretty soon.

Bust-a-Move and Lemmings 2 (Both SNES)

I did alright on the Bust-a-Move (I'd played it once before, and other games like it on a few occasions), but I failed miserably at the first level of Lemmings 2.

I've mostly been playing my Genesis the last couple of days. Last night, I played a bit of Revolution X (the Aerosmith rail shooter) and Desert Strike (which I've beaten, but hadn't played in years).

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story (DS). I think of finally nearing the end of the game. Not 100% sure, though. Not a huge fan of the Stylus segments.

Etrian Odyssey on my DS. Very good and involving game but the having to mark things on the map yourself is slightly irritating

The lion King for Sega Genesis. Seriously this game is awesome fun, but stupidly hard in a weird kind of way. I have the Famicom and Super Famicom varients as well. :)

I played Shadowrun (Genesis) for the first time this afternoon. I screwed up pretty quickly, as this is kind of a complicated game. It's practically an action-RPG, but it's actually a pretty interesting and engrossing universe. Kind of weird to see that your characters can "plug into" a cyberspace "Matrix" in a game that came out years before the Keanu Reeves movies. I could really get into this, as soon as I actually figure out this game a little bit.

I took the plunge and bought Ittle Dew ($13.99) for my Ouya. It's so amazing, it harks back to classic LoZ games.

Popped in my old Diablo 1 Disc.  Amazing how it still holds up as eerie and creepy.

Still playing Ittle Dew... These 12 puzzle rooms are a massive headache.
