Ninja Gaiden (SMS)
Land of Illusion (SMS)
Castle of Illusion (SMS)
Alex Kidd in Shinobi World (SMS)

I think these four games are tied for my favorite game on a Sega system.

On Master System, I loved Asterix and The Ninja.
On Game Gear, I loved GG Shinobi and The Lucky Dime Caper.

How could you not include them?  How? How??  :'(

I got back to Ultimate Stuntman (NES) for the first time in almost a week, and I was rusty. I maxed out at Stage 3-2, after dying several times on stages that I was acing. I've got to get back to practicing on it on a daily basis, if I'm going to beat this thing this year.

I took a stab at Conquest of the Crystal Palace just now. I got to the fourth stage, and the game apparently only has five of them. I'll keep working on this and Ultimate Stuntman, but at this rate I'll beat Crystal Palace first.

More Conquest of the Crystal Palace. I reached the fourth boss, but was unsuccessful in several attempts to defeat the evil bundle of Blackberries in the fire cave. This game is reminding me a lot of Ninja Gaiden. I have a decent life bar, but it seems like every enemy is positioned in such a way to hit you down an instant-death pit.

I'll be honest, the only one of those I have is The Ninja, and I haven't played it much... but thanks to your recommendation I'll play it shortly.  Actually I don't even have a Game Gear, maybe someday I should get one of those... I'm definitely interested in Shinobi and Ninja Gaiden on it.

I just got done playing Ikuze Daiku No Gen-San for PSP... finished every stage on every difficulty.
So ends another chapter in the glorious legend of the Ninja... Until next time...

Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Hillsfar (NES). Not my cup of tea, but I got one for cheap from a thrift store recently and I had to test it to see if it works. (It does.) I'll be reselling it, probably to a completist collector here in town.

Secret Ties (NES)

This is one of my new repros, and I just played it for the first time. It's an unpublished prototype by Vic Tokai, and it's a pretty decent side-scroller.

Just played another one of my new repros: Rockman 5: Wily's Dream Space. It was awesome!

I have not played this game, but I think it's worth sharing. While trying to educate myself on obscure Consoles and Computing I stumbled across this: "Prostitute Maker" (http://www.mobygames.com/game/prostitute-maker)

"Prostitute Maker is a "raising simulation" game similar to Princess Maker: a heroic father, who has defeated the forces of Lucifer himself and restored City 13 to its former glory of frivolous pleasures, is entrusted with the task of bringing up his daughter. The distinction between the premises of the two games, however, is significant: the father sees it as his parental duty to turn his child into a prostitute."

Call of Duty - original 1st game, and IMO the best in series!
