The guy I bought mine from puts a new one up for auction weekly.  The Supergun that plays all PCBs always has a starting price of $150, and he has the auctions up for a week.  Occaisonally, he'll put up a BIN of either the Supergun that plays all PCBs or his Supergun that's made specifically for Neo-Geo PCBs, which I think is a dumb idea.  If you buy a Supergun, you obviously want to play more than just Neo-Geo games, but whatever.

Make sure you notice the differences between the two, because I actually bid on the Neo-Geo one thinking I was getting the regular one.  I told him about my error and he very kindly switched them out with no hassle.

Here's his eBay page: http://shop.ebay.com/jojoultimate/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom (PS3)
Enslaved - Odyssey to the West (PS3)

Both are brand new from GameStop for a combined price of $26... Power saver sale rocks!

Was hoping to win the Gamecube demo lot because people are...  I'm not happy that I lost at all and I hope I find another opportunity to obtain the demo soon.

None of the mahjong games arrived yet.

Just now! Pokonyan! (Poko Nyan) or (Poko-Nyan) whatever. Cost me $50 complete. I've heard that this game is even rarer that Rendering Ranger even in cart only form... Pokonyan should have cost me a lot more if that's the case. Can't say I agree though I have never seen even a loose Pokonyan! on Ebay for at least two years. Now I own both rediculously rare Pokonyan games. :D

Here is a picture of the game and contents.

My Supergun came in the mail today, but then I realized one thing.  I still don't have any controllers!  The NES to Famicom cable didn't work, which made sense after Satoshi Matrix explained to me that a certain chip in the controller must communicate with a certain chip in the NES, otherwise the controller will not work on the system.  So, to remedy that problem, I scoured eBay, and eventually found (and won) this auction!

Not only did it come with two CDZ controllers (which generally run upwards of $30 a piece), but it also came with an MV-1F motherboard (which'll run you anywhere from $80-$110), and a 48-in-1 multicart for the Neo Geo!  Prices for Neo multis change all the time, but I've never seen this particular one before, and it's got some great games on it, so I'm not exactly sure what ballpark it's in. [Edit: A Google search shows that this cart still fetches upwards of $90]  I'll be in business once this comes. :D

I got this for $190 after shipping (heavy motherboards from Canada don't come cheap you know).
So, using my above prices to compare:
$60 for the two controllers
$80 for the motherboard
+$90 for the multi
$230.  I'd like to think I got a pretty sweet deal on this.

That's some seriously nice stuff, dork.  :gamer:

GRRR I have a simillar NeoGeo board but there are no controller ports on it... But that's not what's bothering me, I have only two games for it and having a multicart for that system has been my shopping quest for ages!

nintendodork

I wasn't actually concerned about controller ports since my Supergun has two, although I never understood why some Neo Geo boards have controller ports in the first place since generally they're hooked up to a cabinet with a JAMMA control panel.

What revision is your motherboard, jpx?  I think I got lucky finding mine.  This is the first MV-1F I've actually had a chance to buy, since they're usually sold really fast whenever one shows up on the Neo-Geo.com forums, which by the way, if you're looking for some cheap MVS games, check out the market on their forums.  An MVS owner can get so many great deals there.  Do you have a list of the games on your multicart, or perhaps a picture?  What's the other game you have?

I just got my preordered copy of Socom 4: Full Deployment Edition today, the original copy I ordered got sold to a customer by some stupid new employee at Game Stop earlier in the week. So I had to wait until 3 days after it was officially released to receive my copy, but what is the point of preordering if my copy isn't given to me until 3 days after all the people who just went to the store and bought there's that day... very lame.

My name was also on a paper slip on top of the box or atleast that's what the manager told me, so he said he doesn't know how the new employee could possibly be dumb enough to sell it to a random person whom walks inside. He then looked over at the guy and said, your fired!

Also I bought a Nyko Media Hub Slim for my PS3 because I needed more USB ports.

Hopefully this will be the long awaited addition of Tetris 1.0 into my collection. Can't even tell if the label has 23 or 07A stamped on it... we will find out in about a week.

My revision is NEO-MVH-MV1 FZ-NBZ and I got it by taking an old "non-functional-crap" from one pub to my place and repaired (and modded) it :)

But you understood me wrong on the cartridges, I am just hunting for a multicart, my games are Metal Slug 1 and Samurai Showdown II.

I picked up a Nintendo Color TV Game 15 yesterday, a pre-Famicom Nintendo console:

It looks great, but that is all I can say for it.

Ouch, that has got to hurt. Have you took apart the broken paddle to see if maybe it just needs a resoldering or something?
