Thanks man. Do you know what it was really intended for? ... was it really for carts?

The briefcase was intended for carts - I've seen some with vacuum formed plastic inlays for carts, but yours looks like a different model so I couldn't say for certain on that one.  But it make sense to follow suit.

Nice SFC pickups P :bub:

Thanks! The 1CHIP works like a charm and the picture really seems better. Especially with an RGB cable.

When I said P, I meant Pikkon and P together, wasn't very clear :)

Fresh from France, some fantastic Pix n Love books. Original Gameboy bible with neat lenticular front, Mario Goodies Collection, Gunpei Yokoi, Hiroshi Yamauchi and LE version of the PC-Engine Bible.

Highly recommend the Mario Goodies Collection book to any fans of Mario or Nintendo. Lots of very interesting products to view.

The LE PC-Engine Bible comes in gorgeous packaging

Already posted these in the fami finds, but what the heck  ;D

Sharp Famicom Titler complete and NOS (new old stock)

Sapporo Ribbon soda Super Mario Bros 2 glasses

Dragonquest III vinyl record soundtrack

Modded GBA with backlit screen and a pair of Mario SH arts figures

.

The books in French?  They do run English editions but they come along later.  Meant to get that Mario book myself, I see you got the LE Tanooki version.  That PCE bible is a sight to behold...

Yeah they're in French, but the English versions literally take forever to come out. The Gunpei Yokoi English version seems to be taking years! I've had the regular versions of the PC-Engine Bible books, but missed the bus on the LE version (sold out on their site). Had to resort to Ebay France to get this one lol

That's true, I have been waiting years for some of them, I think it took around two years for the History of Nintendo books to be localised, heck knows why.

So, upcoming 'others' find from me - but I can only get one - which should it be?

As a Famicom collector, I feel the SFC version is the only choice, but that US SNES version looks so so nice, I can't choose.

The SFC one looks better.

Let me get this straight, RCG has confirmed that you have won a prestigious spot to be able to buy one of those customized GBAs? Everytime I ask or attempt to buy it's sold out. Almost like a lottery to be given the chance to buy one! I emailed RCG asking to buy/pre-order the custom SFC GBA a few days ago (no response yet). A few weeks ago I attempted to buy the modded SEGA Nomad-X from RCG's website... sold out. Emailed RCG and their response was merely sold out (all 2 of them!). Yes, only 2 were made.

So these custom GBA pics are all over the internet. I'm guessing he's making maybe 2-3 of each.... maybe even just one! Then that's it.

No there's at least ten of each, I think more like 20-30 to be honest, but no there is no special treatment, I don't have a spot reserved.  I'm just checking back every day.

These are a winner for Wiggy though, he will make more for sure, it's the price I'm more worried about.

But yes, with stories up on RetroCollect, IGN and Reddit it's one heck of a lottery.  As soon as I see them on sale I will PM you.  You have more chance than me though because of the time zone...

Holy moley stealthlurker!
A Famicom Titler boxed AAAAAAAAAND Recca boxed  :o I'm guessing you are made out of money.

Playing your ass off right now @ Recca? :gamer:

For me, today I recieved an american rgbmodded SNES Jr.
Sadly it didn't turn on.
Luckily a gamebit for snes arrived today aswell, sadly it looks like this: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5145312/pics/snes/WP_20140707_001.jpg
However it served its purpose and allowed me to take off the bottom screws and I searched the next a bit in order to locate the fuse. No connective over the fuse on the board. Easy fix! :D
So now it works and I gave my Fire FX a try with a couple of PAL games; Illusion of Time, Super Metroid and Stunt Race FX didn't work. Shadow Run however did.
