So these custom GBA pics are all over the internet. I'm guessing he's making maybe 2-3 of each.... maybe even just one! Then that's it.

So did you get one?  They went on sale very early this morning (my time ) so I was asleep - 10 of each went up and were gone within the hour.

More are going on sale later this week another time when I won't be asleep, but orders are limited to one of each, so I can't order you on as well IF I'm even lucky enough to snag one in the first place...

On the other hand, my colleague dropped this amazing desk toy off, cheered me up a bit :bub:

So analog! :D
I really like this label art.

Nice to have the Japanese versions of the PCE Ys series, as my U.S. version of I.II and III are in poor shape and even have small cracks on the disk  :'(

Where do you guys find this stuff?  :o

I came across these when searching for Famicom soundtracks released on vinyl format. There are a lot of cool designs but I really don't like the fact that they have hands and feet. :(

I checked on Squid Ink's online store - they're still selling them.  I quite like that they're little guys, but I know what you mean.

My additions for the past month or so.

Tenchi wo Kurau II has to be my absolute favorite Saturn game now, I've already beaten it 15 times... and I just got it three days ago.
So ends another chapter in the glorious legend of the Ninja... Until next time...

YES!  Shadow Dancer!  Have you finished it yet?  I need to give it another (proper) run.

Also glad to see Strider 2 there - I got that game at launch and loved it, but surprisingly probably loved playing through Strider 1 more.

Especially after completing it - if you didn't yet then I won't spoil the surprise, both games have great completion unlocks.

Really?  I played Strider 2 waaaay more than Strider 1.  They're both great games, though.  Also, my copy has the discs reversed, so Strider 2 is on the disc with the Strider 1 artwork, and vice versa.  Dunno if that was a common problem with the game or not.

L___E___T

Hmm that's odd - my Strider 2 disc definitely had Strider 2 art in blue.

My main non-issue with Strider 2 is that it doesn't feel as challenging.  Strider 1 forces you to find and learn patterns and exploits and I had more fun with that personally.

I've just received it on MegaDrive so will have fun with that battle and all the music again soon :bub:

It is fairly easy if you're just trying to play through it.  The real challenge is in trying to get the best score possible.  That's been my experience with it, anyway.

Man, I want to play Strider 2 now ;D

L___E___T

Maybe that's how it's meant to be played - like a Caravan Score / Time Attack!

Dang now I wanna play it too.

Aw man, I envy you guys so much. I love Famicom but I definitely want to collect Genesis/Mega Drive and Saturn games as well.  :'(

Decided to check out a couple of thrift stores around here and managed to find SNES Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Super Castlevania IV for $9 total! The carts are kind of dirty (I'll clean them up), but work great.

The good thing, Megadrive feels much cheaper to collect for than Famicom.

DDCecil - amazing deals - proves bargains can still be picked up!
