Kiddo

Nice find senseiman!  Like you, I have no way to test my finds of today. But that day will come! Hopefully for the both of us :)

But today I went to the goodwill store, like I do almost every month now. But this time I found something directly related to retro gaming stuff!

Found these Mega Drive games! Mostly sports games that I usually don't like, but they were cheap so I took them anyway. My Mega Drive console is missing it's AC adapter so I can't test these out until I find a replacement adaptor.

Also found these two PS1s, but no adapters or controllers came with them. Like the Mega Drive games, they were so cheap I couldn't resist.

And finally, a whole bunch of Sinclair Spectrum games. Now these were DIRT cheap, but I am really not sure why I took them since I'll probably never find a working Sinclair Spectrum computer or the will to play these games  :D
But the covers on the boxes alone make it all worth it, so much retro goodness!

Sorry for the lousy pic quality.

senseiman

LOL, I know where you are coming from, Kiddo!  Even if you can't play them - a bargain is a bargain!

Those Spectrum games look great, I agree with you about the box art making it worth it.  I like the look of that A View to a Kill game.  A lot of people rate that as one of the worst Bond movies (and rightly so), but by coincidence it was also the first Bond movie I saw as a kid when it came out so I have a soft spot for it.  Nightgunner and Starstrike look cool too!

Three Game & Watches? Nice! Looks like that Octopus has taken a beating though. How are the Mario Bros. holding up?
I like to glitch old VHS tapes and turn them into visuals for live music events. Check out what I'm working on - www.instagram.com/tylerisneat

Sega SG 1000 II, the predecessor to the predecessor to the Sega Master System.  Don`t know if my new console works or not yet, but I`m quite happy with the purchase anyway ;D

Good find.

The tiny, nice-looking famiclone system that came out a few years ago, the Famulator, looks similar in design to the predecessor of your console, but using the Famicom colours of red and white with gold letters.

Ah, Elektronika.  :)

I think this brand is more well-known outside of eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union, for its digital watches.

Today I picked up a copy of Pacar for my SG-1000 II.

When I picked it off the shelf at the store, it was still sealed in its original box and packaging.  Then something surprising happened:

OH MY GOD! This is outrageous! This will probably make me want to scream at the seller for being incompetent dick! Personaly I wouldn't buy it after that... Sorry for your loss.

You would not be able to hold me responsible for whatever I do after committing such an act in front of me.
