Love that Gameboy! I've always wanted a really good condition Pokemon Gameboy, preferably that one over the Gold/Silver one.
I like to glitch old VHS tapes and turn them into visuals for live music events. Check out what I'm working on - www.instagram.com/tylerisneat

Supposedly this is a little harder to find than the gold and silver one but not sure if that's entirely true.

Very nice and much better than what they usually go for on eBay. I'm in the opposite situation as you as I have an MSX but no carts. Perhaps you can start offering MSX carts for sale if you come across them again? I'd love to get some nice ones for cheap!

senseiman

Yeah, I looked up the prices on Ebay - ouch!  Those Salamander and Parodius carts were selling for 100$ each.

If I get any doubles I`ll give you a shout!

Hit the jackpot after months and months of inactivity..  I'll take some pics when I finally get around to cleaning them.

Guys, is a like-new (in the box) Bio Miracle Bokutte for 13000yen, a good deal?  It's the cheapest I've ever seen it with box..  Wondering if I should go pick it up while I can.....

manuel

I've seen complete copies for 20000Yen (and much higher) online, so compared to that 13000 is a steal.
I'm sure senseiman will find it in the 100Yen bargain bin one day.

senseiman

I think that is a good deal.  They have a copy of that at Mandarake here in Fukuoka in the glass case.  I cant remember how much they charged off the top of my head but I remember it was a lot.

And yeah Manuel, Omocha Souko here might put one in a junk pile for 100 yen!!!

manuel

I'm starting to think those guys at that store know absolutely nothing about pricing video games. To your advantage!  :D

The guys at the places I visit also know nothing, that's why they price everything too high.  :P

That's exactly why I don't have any carts for my MSX yet. There just isn't a good flash cart solution for the system and MSX collectors tend to be a rather greedy bunch.

LOL, yeah I am so lucky to have this place right next to wear I live.

I know what you mean too.  The Hard Offs in Fukuoka for example all have people who know nothing about games pricing them way too high.  500 yen for Family Stadium and that sort of stuff!
