That reminds me... I have to get a replacement Saturn and do the region mod. My last one gave up the ghost right before Christmas. :/

Dat KoF 95.

I have another fantastic find to report!

Some facts about my new treasure;

Made in 1967 by Nintendo.  Designed by Gunpei Yokoi.

Found it complete in box in immaculate condition.

BIN price on Ebay for one in lesser condition: 300$.

I paid: 2000 yen (about 25$).

Here she is:

I'm always anxious looking into this thread when I see your name under it on the front page.

Those guys at that shop just don't know what they're dealing with. If they set up Yahoo auctions with those items they could make a lot of money.

But hey, I'm happy that you get all those deals.  ;D And I hate you at the same time.  >:( But in a good way!  ;)

Now please find me a CIB copy of Chip 'n Dale 2 for 100 Yen or so and I'll send you self-made pretzels.  :bub:

LOL, I am to please.  I hope they NEVER look on Yahoo Auctions and realize how much this stuff is worth, my collection would come to a grinding halt if they did.

BTW, I picked up another amazing deal there today.  I`ll be taking some pics and putting them up soon.

You must have junk stores like that around where you live too manual. Just go there every day like senseiman does ;)

People give their junk to those stores for almost nothing I suppose.
You know what they say: the things you think is junk may be worth alot, while the things you think is worth alot is worthless...

There are junk stores around me.
The only problem is, when they don't know how to price something, they price it high and not low like in senseiman's favorite store.  :'(
And they don't put hings in the "junk" bins. They have a Master System that has been there for over 5 years and the price hasn't changed even once. (11800 Yen by the way.)
I visit my local shops once a week and only sometimes I make half-decent finds.

fredJ

You just have to find the right store. :)

I won this today.
Finally I have the most treasured game boy (based on beauty at least)...

fredJ

Luck, eh? It has taken me over a year to find one for a good price... :D Surprised to find it in a lot like this, I almost missed it.  :star: Okay a little luck I suppose.  :pow:
I hope it arrives safely.  :-\
I will put it next to my Tezuka Osamu World Shop game boy.  :D
Now I need to find an ANA.... very pretty too...

I've had the beautiful Sakura Wars and Cardcaptor before, in mint condition, but somehow I don't think they are so interesting.

Sure, sold them about a year ago for around 55$ each, CIB.

I often see it them on Yahoo for around twice that, so it makes me regret my sale a little.
But it's okay, I had to sell it and interests probably isn't that big here.

Edit: let's see if I can get two images in here....
