A friend of mine in New England said they just stopped taking in NES games and that's whrn it shocked me.  Our store here is still taking all sixth generation stuff in and selling it.  GBA too I think.

Sega 32x boxed complete with Star Wars Arcade for $62! I read something about it being a Star Wars edition or something. Also bought DOOM, Motocross, and virtua Racing Deluxe complete in excellent shape for $21.

Honkaku Shougi Fuunjuu Ryuu SFC for about $5 complete in very good condition. Some wear on box with an annoying price sticker. Same Deal for Pro Mahjong Kiwame 1.

- Famicom System in pretty good condition for - 210yen
- Famicom AND Famicom Disk System for - 525yen
- Transparent Gameboy Pocket - 525yen
- Hudson Famicom Controller - 210yen
- Famicom RF Switch with an attached connector head thingy - 210yen

and all of it works!

Old Gameboys were dirt cheap in 2003 in my area! I got a working one for 10 Yen and a not working one for 1 Yen.  That was a crazy sale and today I wonder why I didn't buy their entire stock.

I now have 5 gameboy pockets...  For whatever reason, I can't stop buying them, particularly when they're only 525 w/ box.

Oh man, did I come back here to mention I got a Famicom ROB and Gyromite sets in boxes for 2100yen, too??  Good deals lately!


What I could really use a good deal on would be a simple set of AV cords for Nintendo consoles that aren't 800yen a pop... Why so expensive?  Right now I could use another set just for the convenience of not having to switch between famicom and super famicom.

LOL, as a guy who has 11 Red and White Famicoms sitting on his shelf collecting dust, I know EXACTLY how you feel!     A bargain is an impossible thing to resist, even if you already have the thing they are selling!

Good find with the ROB and Gyromite sets too, thats a really good price.

I am considering buying Mother 2 for SuFami because a CIB copy is like $28... How hard do you think it would be to play for a person whom doesn't know how to read Japanese?

I am considering buying Mother 2 instead of Earthbound as it's 1/4th the price; and you get a box and manual with it. I am glad I own a SuFami!
