Your game list is incredible but I would love to see if you guys can add pictures to know what the games look like. Just a suggestion

That would be great and a lot of work. I can take snapshots of some via emulator.

Eventually we plan to have pics of carts, boxes, manuals, and screenshots. It is a lot of work. If anyone want to contribute anything, especially screenshots, we'd appreciate it. Only a few games have any additional info linked from the games lists. (Remember you can click any green button to get more info; and a red button means no info.) :)

yeah, thats a ton of work getting all the pics, but it would be worth it i assume

I can rip-off pics of carts and manuals from Ebay ? I have tons of pics (not mines) of Carts of Famicom, mostly pirates are mine and some mine from Famicom carts too, I can took snapshots, it's pretty easy. You want snapshots of the game itself or from the tittle screen ?

The title screen and maybe a shot or two of the game in action would be fine. :)

I can help with taking pics of the games too! We should all decide to do a letter of the alphabet and take screen shots from the letter that we pick. You know like if I pick letter B, I will take screenshots of all fami games that start with letter B.

That's good idea to organize the work.

We can do screenshots by letter, but I don't think it would work as well for carts, manuals, and boxes because there aren't people here who are going to have every game from a single letter. For screens, if you want to do them for a certain letter, let us know here. We usually take four screenshots per game and one must be of the title screen. If you're going to do carts, manuals, and boxes, just take the pics and I'll try to post them as quickly as possible on the site so we don't double up. Scans are best, but pics will work if you take them straight-on or flat as if the game was scanned. All help is appreciated. :)

I could scan some boxes and carts.
I hope I won't send stuff somebody alse already has...

I could scan the following (not much yet) (cart, box, booklet):
Dragon Ball Z II: Gekishin Freezer
Dragon Quest 2-4
Final Fantasy II
Ganso Saiyuuki Super Monkey Daibouken
Hydlide Special
Mirai Shinwa Jarvas

cart only I have:
Dragon Quest 1
Famicom Jump Eiyuu Retsuden
Ganbare Goemon Gaiden: Kieta ougon kiseru
Karnov
Ninja Hattori-kun
Tsuppari Oozumou
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (disk)

Could you use those?

I'm just curious. Whst resolution would be good?
Usually I scan with 100dpi, that's enough, right?

JC

Scan 'em. We don't have any of those yet. We don't have much. :) As for the technicals, just do what you think is best,  so long as the scans are of high quality and are actual size or larger, they'll work.
