I like it.  I'm working on my own and hope it turns out just as nice.

Nice work! I was hoping to get a AV Famicom and go with the Famicom Everdrive, but it was just easier to get a NES top loader (and wait for the NES Everdrive)...oh well :)

No worries man! I picked up my AV famicom on one of my Thailand trips. Only reason I own one! Oh and
Did you hear krikz already made  the ntsc version of the everdrive N8. No adapter needed!

I always thought of famicom as JNTSC, and U.S. as NTSC....but to each his own right?

That makes sense in a way since the NTSC standard was probably developed in USA and Japan got it from the Americans during the occupation. But in the video game world it's usually called NTSC-U so that it's not confused with NTSC-J when talking about game regions.

Do a Manuel (heh)!  I'm making a small one because without a manual, it's only CB...

My only issue with Everdrive N8 is that it costs nearly as much as all my entire Famicom collection together. I mean it would be cool for smooth Disk System emulating but the price is about $20 to expensive IMHO.

P

Yeah if you just plan to just use it to play games cheaply it might not be worth it. It doesn't help people like me who are into collecting hardware and manuals either. But the fact that you don't have to make a repro cart in order to play hacks or run homebrewed code on it appeals to me.

I wish I'd had one back when I first bought a Famicom - they're that good.
