Unfortunately clean AV Famcoms even loose are not really cheap.  Do you know what kind of budget you have?  Hopefully someone here will give you a good deal.  Have a look on eBay at completed listings though to get yourself a good idea.

I don't mind getting yellowed console and my budget is between 60 - 115€ :)

I gave up after seeing prices...I just went ahead and bought a top loader NES then later I'm sending it to game-tech.us to AV mod it. Good Luck though :)

If you're prepared to spend 115 Euros ($150), then I think you'll be able to find an AV Famicom. My advice would be to wait for one that's console only, since those go a bit cheaper. You're probably not going to use a power supply that's bundled with one anyway, and you're better off with NES controllers for their longer cords. The RCA adapter is the same common one used for SNES through Gamecube. I love my AV Famicom, and I wish you luck in finding one for yourself.

Damn, have the prices really gone up that much for the av fami,I got mine I think 2 years ago for 60 shipped from japan, was just the console and two controllers.

They've definitely gotten pricier. I bought my AV Famicom console-only on an eBay Buy-it-Now for about $90 a year and a half ago, and when I looked at it closer over the next couple of weeks I'd honestly overpaid for it. Right now, it looks like I got a fairly good deal, though.

Yes, I got mine for a terrific deal over a year ago, and I'm extremely fortunate I did. Even with the recent price increase, they're worth every penny. I believe there is no greater console.
So ends another chapter in the glorious legend of the Ninja... Until next time...

I have one on the way.
If I decide to sell it, I'll post it on my sales thread.  :)

Is the audio bad in the AV Famicom? And if it is, then is there anyone who would mod the original Famicom and ship it to Finland?
