So, the platinum and gold gifts for Club Nintendo of America were just released today. Is it just me, or does Club Nintendo anywhere out side of Japan just REALLY suck when it comes to gifts? Back when I use to import new games (Gamecube mostly) and do Club Nintendo Japan, I got a few really cool things including the famed Wiimote TV remote control! I really think that Nintendo just does not care about showing their appreciation to games for buying their products outside of Japan.
Here are a few games I am looking for right now
Super Puzzle Fighter II X (Sega Saturn)
GeGeGe no Kotarou (Sega Saturn)
Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu (Sega Saturn)
KiKi KaiKai (PC Engine) (CIB)
Puzzle Bobble (Super Famicom) (CIB)

I agree, the items we receive aren't nearly as good as what Club Nintendo of Japan gives out, and it sucks. That Wii remote was so awesome...
Did anyone here reach platinum and choose their reward yet? I went for the Majora's Mask soundtrack. I mean, posters, or a calendar?
I'll probably die surrounded by plastic crap.

I reached platinum status, but I am debating on if I want to get something for myself, or if I want to get something and try in flip it for cash or trade at this point.

Decided on the posters, as I got the Mario and Zelda ones, and I'm looking to decorate my desolate downstairs game room sometime in the future.

I have a bunch of coins saved up, I just wish they would add some more prizes.

I picked the soundtrack as well ! I gotta say, the rewards suck!

I ended up making a trade with a friend who only made gold level but wanted a platinum reward. He got me the calendar and I got him the platinum level 3 poster set. At least I could make someone happy~

Heck I just buy the JP stuff I want.  I've saved up loads of points in the past and got one of these:

Currently I have a few thousand 3DS codes to redeem but because they expire if unused I'm waiting to cash them in until I see something I like, which hasn't happened.

I am actually surprised the CD comes in a jewel case. I could have easily seen Nintendo giving the thing out in just a cardboard slip case, since they want to make US rewards as cheap as physically possible.

Please keep in mind that of all big regions the USA have the cheapest game prices. That's gotta count for something.
I'd give up all those Club Nintendo goodies if the games were cheaper instead.
